Welcome to the Chinese Zodiac Project. If you've never looked into the Chinese Zodiac, it's on a twelve year cycle and every year has a patron animal or beast. These animals are said to give those people born in their years certain traits preferentially. Waiting for won tons in a Chinese restaurant, this website was conceived. Most series, books, TV shows, movies, you name it, run the gamut of the Zodiac in their characters. The Debster and I decided to try and fit our personal favorite fictional universes into a Chinese Zodiac. Now we assigned Zodiac animals based on what year they should have been born in, rather than what they were born in. After we had completed a couple of those on paper napkins, we decided it would be fun to make a web-site dedicated to the game. The Zodiac Project is fundamentally complete, with 12 permutations of the game in fandoms that Debbie and I have enjoyed. PS: Please be courteous and don't use the graphics you find on this site. The clipart was taken from free-for-personal-use sites, but there are a lot of images used with permission from other sites here, not to mention the original stuff that we spent our own time and effort to create.
